If he had 3-4 month lead time, he could most likely locate 2-3 possible good cars. It's all he does, every day. Scour the internet all over the country, looking for cars. He knows what he is looking for.

That 66 you owned looked a fine car,
Your advice on a car with good paint and pannel I will take for sure.
My last Bonneville was lost in a paint shop for 12 months,but worth it in the end.
I am handy with brakes,suspenshion and electrical all service works which I do enjoy.
I will contact you via pm in the future about your mate who chases cars.
