Default Hays Clutch Kit

Complete Hays 10.5 clutch kit. $300 shipped.

Here's the deal:
I bought this clutch in January 2019 for my 1965 Corvette during a frame off restoration. I wanted Hays because they've had an excellent record in the high performance arena for decades. So I installed it long before the car was ready for the road. I finally flashed the car last week but found I could not get the transmission to engage. Turned the car off and did some research. Turns out Lars has a paper on this very issue. This kit, the 85-100 Hays will not work with the Corvette clutch fork geometry. The listing, when I bought it, showed it would fit the C2 Corvettes but the listing was incorrect. The Corvette is unique in having only .5 inch of travel at the throw out bearing and needs a different design pressure plate, where all other GM's use the same fork and have .75 inch of travel. So I switched to a different clutch kit. Now I have this virtually brand new Hays clutch kit but because I'm outside of the 90 day return policy, I can not return it. I no longer have my Firebird so it will only sit on my shelf and collect dust. I'd like to get it out there to someone who can use it. This will work with the Muncie M-20 and M-21 or any 10 spline Saginaw or Borg Warner. It will not fit the M-22 or any transmission with the fine spline input shaft. As you can see on the invoice, I paid $352.95 for this kit. If you check eBay today this kit is priced between $394.69-$455.01. So I'll put this one out there at $100 less and I'll eat the shipping to the lower 48. $300 landed at your door step. Does that sound fair?
