Default Collecting Pontiacs... the new norm..., IMO

Just my 2 cents based on what I see out there for sale:

1) If it's not numbers matching and a rare car, paint it whatever color you want. The end value will not be lowered because you deviated from green/green. I love green/green BTW, but I'm just making a point, because prolly 50% of 67/68 First Gens FBs were green/green. If the engine is not NM, do what you want... numbers will never match.

2) If it's a "Resto Mod" car it's prolly worth 60% of what a restored car is worth. I'm just sayin' that some mods, while kinda cool, are your dream... not the dream of the buyer.

There are exceptions to the above, but 40 years was a long time ago and date codes don't mean anything to my cars.
