Can't tell you how many times I've hit the limiter over the years, and the last couple years dad can't seem to stay off of it.

Also can't tell you how many times I wish I had a limiter on some of the cars, LOL

Here's an example of why a limiter is a good idea. This could have been a $20,000+ engine down the tube without a limiter.

On my previous stock rod shortblock my rev limiter saved the engine many times. 6000 rpm happens pretty quick in first gear ..
