If you are looking for something rare that is also unique this could be the one for you.
This is essentially a one woman owned car, zero rust exposure, never hit! Wearing all it's original sheet metal and chrome. Numbers matching. Has a binder including all the purchase paperwork and protecto plate. The quality level of it's one repaint was high. I can't see any blushing of the metalflake which is impressive. The panels were removed and painted individually. Motor was rebuilt and still has all of it's bolt on pieces which show correct numbers and dates though I have not checked the starter or waterpump. Interior is a mix of original parts (dash, console etc) and repo (carpet, door panels, seat covers) It shows well. My personal view is, this very unusual GTO is in between a show car and a nice driver. I say this because even though it had an excellent paint job there are some chips from it being driven and Lord knows why it was undercoated when new but never driven in bad weather. It does need a few items fixed if it is to be a driver like, turn signal switch, control arm bushings, tires and the AC leak found and as some may notice the wrong shade of blue was used on it's motor plus a few other nit pick items. I would sell it for 50K. Has a clear open Texas title. Shoot me a PM if you're interested. Hope you all enjoy the pics. |
