Dual Snorkel w/o Thermac Valves

Picked up this dual snorkel to fit the induction setup on my '65 Catalina. It's odd that there are no Thermac valves on it. Everyone I've seen has them. Looks cleaner without them tho, and I don't want them on my setup.

It came off a '72 GTO, but it could've come from another car before that. Those Thermac valves were on everything GM starting around 68? My best guess is it's '67.

Anyone can pinpoint the original application, please share.
