When I got my TA, the perforated vinyl top material had separated from the card board backing but, otherwise, seemed in good condition.
I carefully glued it back with 3m super weatherstrip adhesive. a product I have used for years on misc and have been quite happy with. I used a spreader with cloth over it to keep it flat and it looked great when I did it. However, the repair has not lasted and now looks pretty bad, wrinkled, separating, etc. So, what options does one have to have a nice looking headliner? 1 can the original be made to adhere and look good? 2 does it need to be replaced with cloth, etc? Would like your comments from those experiencing this issue. thanks
