Default 68/69 throttle cable and bracket

I've been fighting a slightly high idle for a long while. Can't get it below 900~1000 rpm. I finally figured out the problem isn't the carb but the throttle cable OR the bracket. The cable doesn't fully 'relax'. The reason the bracket looks so beat up is that I spent last half hour straightening it out thinking that was the problem. Now I suspect that someone bent it on purpose because it's even worse now.
Can someone post a pic from this angle, taken by zooming through the hood spring uprights. I don't think it's a factory bracket and I KNOW it's not a '68 bracket. No part number, it's just stamped 'TF' in a large font.

Sorry about the sideways pic. Something lost between my phone and laptop I guess. Basically, I want a sideview of the mounted bracket. Trying to see where it lines up on the intake.
