Default Wix oil filters

Hi: Today I cut open my Wix oil filter # 51258. I run Amsoil 10w-40. This filter is a very well made filter in my opinion. There has been lots of talk about oil filters lately. Just posting for information only. Everything in the filter is metal except for the rubber check valve.
