If any of you thought that the parchment vinyl used by Legendary and PUI was too gold (as do I), here is a bit of evidence.
The lighter boot (left) in the photo is an NOS piece just out of the box. It has 4-69 date stamped on the vinyl yardage and the box is dated 7-69 so it was produced during original production not years later. The repro (legendary) is a beautifully done piece that looks and fits great but as I suspected it has too yellowish gold tint while the original is more “Pearl gold.. Only other visible (once installed) minor issue are the rivets are too big and rounded.
