Lou is using the Engine Hoist to hang the AC compressor up and out of the way while he details the Engine compartment. It is looking good, since the motor came in the car on purchase, we have had to live with the former owners original detailing. His warehouse was filthy and thus left a lot of debris on this motor. Worse than that was the dog hair in the Heater core that we pulled and replaced.

I decided to keep the yellow color, a light color that shows the Engine well, I felt that black is just too dark and many people use that in their Engine compartment and you can't see the other parts. JMO

I continue to read the Book on" how to build a Pontiac Motor" and as I thought, I have all this info. in my archives, however I am enjoying reading it anyway. I also have downloaded all the pictures in the book and wonder who copied who. Tomorow is the day to disassemble the short block, if all goes as planned!
