Metal or plastic knob on ‘68 cigarette lighter?
Did the ‘68 gto factory cigarette lighter have a metal knob (like my ‘66) or a plastic knob (like the new aftermarket ones)?
I bought a used lighter from eBay that said it was “original”, and it has a plastic knob. I’m thinking it’s a used aftermarket lighter, but maybe gm switched from metal to plastic between’66 and ‘68. They look the same, but the metal one is much heavier If anyone can verify what an authentic gm lighter knob was made of in ‘68 I’d appreciate it
