I was looking under the car a couple days ago and noticed there were no shims between the core support and frame. I know there were some there when the car was taken apart.
Since I have a new BeCool radiator to go in I figured it would be a good time to add the shims. So, how do I decide how many go on each side? I know I will have o loosen up just about every bolt on the front end
Here are two pictures, thesecond is before the teardown and you can see the gap across the hood is pretty even and the hood is flush with the fenders,
In thefirst picture you can see he gap widens from the center out to the edges of the hood and they are raised above the fenders slightly.
