Why would BOTH fenders ever get replaced?

Accident.

Rust.


Neither a good sign to buyers forking over $70K for these Trans Ams or any collectible car. if a $20k car, then yeah who cares.

But as Baron noted original/correct/intact cars with attention to detail makes them more valuable and incredible and more in demand these days.
