73 Formula 4 speed speedo cable length
My 73 Formula needs a new speedometer cable. Looking it up on line, I see lengths listed from 41 inches up to 83 inches. My existing (I'm guessing it's original but don't really know) cable is about 69 inches long. None of the listed ones are close to that. The closest I found is 61 inches, but not sure if it will be too short.
How long should my cable be? I do not have the original transmission; the one I have (Muncie 4 speed with a 69 Pontiac VIN stamp) has the cable attachment on the driver side. Is that correct? Any input is appreciated. Thanks, Importsmasher
