68 ac ducts

Hey everyone, new member here. Trying to put my 68 Together from boxes of parts from previous owner. Currently working on heat and ac. Couple parts don't make sense to me. The left duct coming off the main duct piece don't fit together. The ends are slightly different. According to my restoration book the part numbers are correct. Any info would be be appreciated. Main duct 9793749, left duct 9790758
