That looks like an older Eddy cam ground by CMC. One of those letter and numbers cast into is probably the lobe class (D2). That should be what the RA4 cam is suppose to look like.

With the Post Covid era sketchy metallurgy and machining, the narrower lobes are not helping. About have to have the cam nitrided these day just to get past the break in.
