Hello,

New to the Pontiac world; was a BBC guy before the LS came out. Picked up a 76 Firebird with a 400 that I am restoring. The previous owner had the engine rebuilt in 98 and then put the car into storage; but it turns out there is more to the story than that. Long story short, I have the opportunity to pickup a 455 block out of a 73 (I think). Also found a few early 70s 400 blocks local. I need to make a decision on the block asap. Not sure what I would do with it, but I am intrigued by Ohio Cranks $895 4.500 stroker crank. I think it may use BBC tall deck rods, no idea what piston. Anybody else running this setup?
