Has anyone installed and is happy with the fit of a 69 reproduction rear bumper? Particularly the fit at the wrap around part of bumper where the ends meet the recessed vertical body line at the quarter panel? I’ve seen pics showing the poor fit but then seen other comments where folks say they fit well. Makes me wonder if it depends on when the parts have been made. Would like to see pics of relatively recent experiences. Of note, Ames describes the reproduction bumpers as very good with this note, “*MAY NEED TO OPEN BOLT HOLES UP TO ACCEPT CARRIAGE BOLTS* QUALITY AND FIT IS VERY GOOD. THESE ARE SHOW QUALITY COPPER NICKEL TRIPLE CHROME PLATED.”
