Default Missing 1970 GTO 455

Hello, I just joined the forum trying to track down my dad's 70 GTO that he sold for college. I have already posted with the Lost Muscle Cars page on Facebook, but I am a fan of forums, so I decided to post here too. This is all of the information that we have right now, but my parents are working on tracking down the VIN for the car. If they can come up with that, I'll update this thread. I don't know if my dad would want to buy the car back, so even if you know who owns the car and know that they don't want to sell it, I would still greatly appreciate getting in contact with the current owner, just to know what happened to the car.

Looking to get in contact with the owner of my Dad’s high school car that he had in La Crosse, WI.
Originally a 455 HO, TH400, 12 bolt posi with 4.10 gears. Sold with a non original Pontiac 400 in it.
Color was Palisade Green with a green interior. The car had bucket seats and a center console. The car underwent a restoration in 1991. The quarter panels were replaced with GM NOS pieces. Like most late production GM quarters, the right side quarter panel did not fit the bumper opening well. The hood was repaired from a kink on the left side. Rust was just starting in the frame behind the right front wheel.
It had power steering, power disc brakes, and 15” Rally II wheels from a Firebird. It also had factory AC and a tach dash. Being a 455 HO car, it also had rear boxed lower control arms and a rear sway bar.
The car was sold in 1993 to a person who was a Pontiac collector and was said to live in Holmen, WI, but no such person has been found to this point.
We do not have the VIN, but it was a real deal 242 70 GTO 455 car.
