We're running a Terminator X max with DBW on a stroked LQ4. Haven't driven it a ton, but it seems to runs great with one exception. The pedal feels a little spongy initially and then opens the throttle quickly, which is not ideal in a manual (TXK), so will need some tuning.
With respect to your problem, weird things happen when the DBW harness is near high voltage/noisy sources, such as the alternator. Did you hook-up the loose (red/white) wire in the DBW harness to the brake pedal as per the instructions)? If so, and you have an issue with the brake switch or it needs adjusting, you can end up with an unresponsive pedal (limited to 10% throttle position regardless how far the pedal is pushed).
