Finally back after finally finding the 68 Convert HO with manual I was looking for.
Just drove it from Seattle to Florida - thought we'd die in the Mojave desert ![]() Carter Carb was puking, overheating in 110 degrees, and the Muncie was popping out of gear while the clutch was at it's end. But the car is immaculate and rust free and we still cruised at 80mph.....So with the Carter carb, it has an Edelbrock Performer intake, and worn out points, dist cap, etc. What should I go with now? Told the engine is rebuilt with hotter cam but no idea. Holley / Edelbrock carb, Sniper EFI (don't want internal fuel pump) or something else? What intake? keep the Performer? The car is a tire burner now and can only get better
