Default Ignition lock cylinder removal

Hi! I have an issue to get the ignition lock cylinder out. I hope to see if the selector gear is broken while I am not able to the the accessory switch working. I've opened up the column and depressed threw the little rectangle area the spring pressured tab that should allow me to remove the lock, but no success. That area seem to be quite different what I have seen others having. I was able to remove the key ferrule while pushing it out. The keys won't stay there, that has been the issue from the beginning. I don't know now how even how to pull that out. Would it be strongly jammed in the place?
