"Hub Plates" mount the wheel assembly using the lug nuts holes.
Coats and Hunter sell these, I would recommend the Hunter Road Force balancer. I remember a Coats balancer training that noted 50-60% of balance issues are mounting the wheel assembly to the balancer. The hub plate takes the "cones" out of the picture, those are typically the quick and easy way to mount a wheel to a balancer. Hope this helps. And - like other posted, bent rims will be spotted by high tech balancers. And - match mounting also helps. Hunter Road Force will spot that accurately. |
