I cleaned up the deck lid today of all the old gasket that had adhered to it. It had crumbled as if it was rotten, but only on the top. It took me quite a while and lots of rubbing alcohol but I did get it all off. I have not yet removed the actual gasket though. I also replaced the backseat and that about worse me out. I must be getting old and weak because I couldn’t for the life of me get that seat bottom hooked on one side. Going to wait until tomorrow when my weightlifter son comes over and put him on it!

I am going to do some digging and see if I can find out where I got that weatherstrip. I tried to buy only the best quality stuff for this car, definitely not opting to cheap out on it. I’ll post as soon as I find something. Happy New Year everyone!
