I have to remove my power brake booster on my '69 convertible. Is it recommended I take off the drivers side fender? The two nuts that secure it on the outside are really hard to get to.

Second my oil pressure gauge reads 80+ all the time. This happened when I swapped engines. My car has ac and the blower motor has stopped blowing. After checking fuses and replacing the blower motor and the relay it still doesn't blow. The dash switch had gone suddenly very stiff prior to the blower motor failure. Should I drop the whole dash to get to the oil pressure gauge and the fan switch? I took out the glove box and getting to the switch is still near impossible. I'd be grateful for any input.
