I thought about cutting and welding but that sounds like more trouble than it's worth to me. I do have a miter saw but never thought it would work for metal as the rpm is a lot lower than a grinder.... noted!

So shops can't do mandrel bends? If not, will the "squish" be small on such a small bend?
