For those with the 13/16" rear sway bar often seen on 1973 and maybe 1974 Trans Ams and Firebirds with the Y99 suspension option, I discovered that RARE PARTS has a bushing kit for Corvair --- where the REAR sway bar bushing that goes on the sway bar, for the bottom drop link to clamp over, is a one piece (not split) rubber bushing with collar.

I had bought the Energy Suspension kit and put their 13/16" split poly bushings in recently, and they ripped within a 1,000 miles.

Hoping the rubber un-split slip on bushing with a collar will last longer.


Here is the kit on RARE PARTS. Considering there is no other source for a correct rubber bushing here, this is an option:
