Default Using a sandwich style oil cooler on the filter mount

Have any of you ever adapted a later model style oil cooler to your engine that has engine coolant routed through a heat exchanger mounted to the oil filter housing?? I asked about this on an Oldsmobile forum, as I am considering using it on my Cutlass that I drive on long trips through the mountains. I like the idea that this system will also heat up the oil faster when cold, and not have any external oil lines running about. If I could adapt one to the Olds, I may do the same thing on my Pontiac as well
