I have two cowl vents I want to sand down for paint. These things are miserable to sand. I wish I had a blasting cabinet.
Does anyone have any tips and tricks? Maybe a tool that would make it easier? The one in my Firebird I can probably just scuff and paint on top of the existing finish. But the one in my Fairlane has chipping paint so it needs to get a more thorough job. Maybe chemical stripping would be better for that one.
