Had a question if anyone has used the McLeod 16908 pivot ball, should have bought that in the first place, ended up with the summit brand one for $20.
First off on that one it only has about 3 threads, and it wouldnt tighten down very good, not to mention you can get your clutch fork on the thing. lol.....thats my review on that thing. Just wondering when you guys are using an adjustable one , are you JB welding the nut on it.............seems like red loctite isnt gonna hold up that well on just a few theads of the nut. Pics showing the difference between the solid ball and the adjustable ball, about a 1/8 inch, hard to believe i have to use this for such a small amount. Rich |
