chineese honeycomb trim rings fitament challenges...
Is anyone running the new trim rings on their 15" honeys?
Had a devil of a time adjusting the tabs to fit on the wheel and then when it finally clicks into place the ring sticks out from the rim and of course one went flying off at highway speed for the test run. Luckily my radio was off and I saw it going in to the other direction behind me. Nearly got run over and so did the ring trying to retrieve it but these were 8mo on backorder! Anyway, what are you using to adjust these to fit better. Would butyl tape work or what have you tried? The tabs on the centre caps were no better but managed to get those on. Thanks
