If you have the matching paint, with patience the end result can be great. I build up with a mixture of my base coat and clear (in the past using base follwed by clear has been a royal pain). After build up I use 1000 grit follwed by 2000 grit, and then the 3M stage 2 polish follwed by their stage 1. I'm not a pro, just a DIY and thi has worked great over the years.
