I've owned a couple bare bones I6 250 CID 2-door coupe Novas. First was a light green 69 with a powerglide, and later a medium blue 73 hatchback with a TH350. Kicked the timing up by ear and both were zippy enough to enjoy. As a mechanic when these were common, I've probably driven hundreds. They're nimble and comfortable. This one has nice colors and the aforementioned near-museum quality preservation. Pontiac styling beats the Nova any day, especially this year getting the 67-8 Firebird tail lights. My take: Do Not Disturb. Drive it to local Coffee and Cars events. Be a "steward" of this particular relic. I'd gladly own this over a 74 GTO. Last edited by einstein; 07-14-2026 at 08:46 PM. |
