Does anybody reproduce, or is anybody in the pro-
cess of reproducing the two color eyebrow stripe's
that were on early 71 GT-37's, and optional on the
T-37 and standard GTO?

These are seldom seen, much smaller than an actual
Judge eyebrow, and I think I've heard that they
only came in two different color combo's. One set
was White/Red, and the other was Black/White.

Anybody have any info?Roger or Jack maybe?

Does anyone know for sure EXACTLY how many stripe
combo's were available?
White/Red
White/Black
Red/Black

Do these all sound correct? Are there other color
combo's?

Supercarbob,

What is the Pontiac behind the one in the pic? Looks like a '70 with a '69 Judge stripe. Can't really tell. Can't see the front enough but doesn't look '69. Inquiring minds want to know.

Tell Gary to let those of us who are interested in
these stripe's know what we can do to help make
his job easier.

Thanks again,

Red/black & White/red were the colors for these stripes, can reference this from '72 dated parts books. The quezal gold door & fender I have tucked away have the Red/black version.
My HO post T-37 is cardinal red, if the stripes had been ordered on it, they would have been Red/white. A really good friend in TX & I both ran across a '71 400 4spd GT-37 in Kennedale In '93, & Jason bought it. It had reminents of its original White/red "eye brow" stripes.

He has a copy of my build sheet. I sent it to him in 99 or 2000. I was interested in how many showed up, total.

I'm in for a set of red/white. I spoke with Dan Jensen a few years ago and he indicated he would be willing to use his car as a pattern, but it looks like there are other options now. We should move on this!

BTW, what ever happened to the 455HO registry that Dan was working on? I sent my info to him years ago and have heard nothing since.

The reflective style "sword" stripes were only used on '71 1/2 GT-37's during '71 production. The '71 1/2's came along begining late 03B & 03C of '71, depending on the assembly plant. Have the numbers wrote down off several chrome front bumper '71 LeMans with optional D98 stripes, that were built in April of '71. All had the eyebrow style stripes.

I would be willing to buy 2 sets,or more.I would be willing to give up the N.O.S stripe for the front to the company that wants to tackle this project. With at least 2 original paint/stripe cars a good rub/tracing of quarter stripes should be no problem.Someone that works(or owns)Phoenix Graphix has been on PY,I havent seen him post in a long time.Maybe Ccass would be interested in helping with this.

I had a set of those on my 70 Lemans Sport.
The red/white/black, really looked sharp against
the Baja Gold!

Sorry about that,I forgot to check the box for the attachment. That is a very nice Castillian Bronze GTO. Looks great with the Sandlewood vinyl top.
