J Brady: It just goes to show how much you know about Pontiacs. Turboglide is a Chevrolet term. Roto-HYdramatic aka "Slim Jim" is what it was called by Pontiac. It had a gear ratio that allowed you to run half the strip in low gear before it shifted. That is some of the time. The other time you were having it worked on under Warranty - Tex the Investigator
