The last. I had to resize so the quality is not as good, but at least everyone can see them.
Thanks

Is the owner claiming that the engine compartment is completely 'untouched' since new?

I see where you're headed Jerry. Looks like a few pieces were replaced or restored in this engine compartment. The carburetor looks too fresh, the master cylinder cover looks wrong, there is no leak sealant above the heater box, the underhood lamp switch looks to be in the wrong position, incorrect heater hose clamps, hinge assemblys are not original finish. The compartment is nicely detailed, but I don't think it is completely original, in the truest sense of the word.

I talked to the guy for 45 minutes regarding this car. He said he hasn't done anything to this car except for regular maintenance. I can't say if the carb had work done to it. As far as the rest of the items mentioned, who knows. The hinges do look original, the picture doesn't show very well, but I was there. He bought this car very late in 67, it was actually ordered but not claimed. The 68's were already on display. Who knows what the factory may have used on end of the line cars.
I am just going by what he told me.

One thing I can say, is that the coloration is very correct. Notice the degree of gloss on the inner fenders, radiator cradle, and heater box. Then notice that the firewall is a different and lower gloss. The firewall was painted with the floorpan and this is what most restorers miss. They paint everything the same. The things I question are that the engine itself simply looks 'too fresh', but I wasn't there, I didn't see it in person. The camera can sometimes play tricks. Also, the wire type heater hose clamps were changed to Witek clamps in early 65, and Pontiac used ribbed heater hose, not GM stamped hose as Chevy did, of course this could have been changed during reg. maintance. I just don't believe it is completely 'untouched' except for oil changes. There looks like there has been some detailing. That being said. It is a super nice car. I sure wish it were in my garage. And it is a super example of the coloration of early GTO's. Thanks for posting the pics.

That is a georgous car for sure! Have those pics saved. Only thing i question is the battery, it can`t possibly be original? They will last a long time but 38 years?
