Quotes:
"I like the "Tomohawk" or "Tomahawk" not sure how its spelled intake manifold. Apache would work too. According to many, the Street Dominator is/was the best flowing street manifold ever produced. Rodney Butler ran a modified Street Dominator on his 9 sec "street" car with a spray bar built into the plenum. Much of the new intake is being based upon the Street Dominator with many improvements like the removal of the heat riser/egr passage to keep the air charge cool...and of course larger runners that flow big numbers." Hey Dave! I know a guy who used to work for Holley, who now works for Ford Engineering, who worked on that intake. He also worked on the Pro Dominator Tunnel Ram Intake. A lot of dyno time was used to make the Street Dominator intake BETTER than any factory Ram Air 4 intake by several percent. I agree that it would be nice to have a lower profile, BIG runner intake that you could use with a blower carb set-up. Ken, You want to try a Torquer 1 intake with all rear runners I had built on Lady Dudes car at Norwalk this year? Tom V.
