Tomas,
I just installed a fan shroud into my 69 Firebird. I watched my temp go to 250 degrees in traffic the other day..freaked me out so I installed the fan shroud. I don't have a stock rad either. I got hosed for those expensive bottom clips ($33.00 for the funny looking bent one). Needless to say, the clips didn't fit anywhere nor did the shroud fit around the flex fan when the shroud sat where it was supposed to go. The bolts that the car shop dolt sold me didn't fit either. I went to Home Depot and got a couple of my own. I had to MacGiver the fan shroud in there, drill holes in it and pin it to the bottom with small gage wire but I got it to sit perfectly. I had to shift the shroud over to the passenger side a bit as well but it works like a charm now. I also took back those rediculously expensive clips too.
