a map sensor problem will not give a p0300.
USE DELCO WIRES PLEASE< AND DELCO PLUGS
Time and time again i see new autozone, napa, checker wires and they are junk.....DONT USE THEM.
LIFETIME WARRANTY is great if you dont have to replace them every year.
A dirty mass air flow maybe, but would be more pressitent, and would usually set a intermittent code for the MAF
Heres how is breaks down. In the order of common problems.
PLUG WIRES #1
Leaking fuel pressure regualtor #2
Plugged or restriced fuel injector#3
and the plenium burning throught #4

Check the coil towers for a burnt look ( black or rust colored dust.) also inspect the plugs for
carbon tracking. AND GET RID OF THE METAL sheilds on the plug boots.
