Jennifer, the first box at the top will give you specs on stock Pontiac engines. The next box below you will note the different bore/stroke combos with corresponding cubic inches. Bore x stroke will give you the your CID.

For a 400, you will need to go with longer rods, different pistons, and either have a 455 crank ground to accept a smaller rod dia. and have the mains machined down to the smaller 3" journal size of the 400 Pontiac, or there are complete kits out there to just drop in your 400/455 Pontiac. Check out PDudes whole sight, there's lots of info. there.
