An older car makes sense as a daily driver. As long as its in good shape mechanically. Factor in the cost of car payment, insurance, property tax, repairs..... I drove a 75 T/A up until the mid 90's, with a 77 Suburban as a backup (sold the Sub a couple of years ago). If I ever finish my 68 GTO I plan to drive it a good bit
(only on sunny days though). Until then I will continue to put 60+ miles a day on my 91 740 Volvo. Whick I havn't done anything to except for tires, brakes, oil changes.
