i think lack of resto parts is one reason you don't see alot of them.
i looked into seat covers / sheetmetal for mine and was told no one was repopping stuff for them. my upholstery guy can sew up a set of covers but it won't be cheap. i'm not sure of sales #'s for a difference of 74 - 5 cars to compare. i know in this area you saw a lot more 76 - 7 g/p's than 3-5 cars. let's face it rust was a big issue on these cars also, alot of them died before they were 10yrs old. the one i gonna do is a sj, buckets /guages/ triple black, rally 2's,posi trac [gears in the 3's] premium sound and climate control. the sj was the top of the line g/p so they may have been the minority built due to price. this is just a guess. it's possible someone else will chime in with a better theory or some actual facts. mike
