They have to be in EXCELLENT condition to be worth more than $25.00. That means perfect chrome and virtually NO dings on the front point.
There are LOTS of them around in "good" condition, but almost none in good enough condition to justify changing out one decent one for one that's only marginally better.
When I needed a replacement for my 68 I was literally days away from sending mine in for a $400.00 re-chrome when I located a near perfect one for $250.00. It has only one tiny area of damage in the area where the jack fits. Before that I had looked at dozens of them for $50.00 or $100.00 that were described as very good, but had dents in the point and pitted or hazed chrome.
