Thanks for posting your answer/pictures. Bet you get a million questions here after you get it out and run it. Good luck!

Nice work on the conversion. What is left from the 455 that is still good? Heads, Crank,Headers?
Let me know what you have and the price you would want? |

Wow, I had almost forgoten about this post and sadly enough the car. I moved to San Fran for school last August so I have not had a chance to work on it since then. Hopefully this summer I can work all the little kinks out. It was on the road for a couple weeks in August, and I would call the transplant 95% done. This is to say that the car runs great, but has a small electrical problem that needs to be worked out before it can make any long hauls, like the one from Illinois to California. So I guess it is still a work in progress, hopefully someday after school I will find some time and a little money and give it the attention it deserves. someday
Oh and while I am at it, has anyone heard of any other pontiac LS1 swaps? and if there are any more questions, I will try to answer them anytime |

Thought I would post some pics after the suspension drop. Damn near in the weeds but I like it.

Do you run the factory ECU or an aftermarket?
I dig the idea of a nice new all alloy motor in an oldschool car. Regardless of what anyone says, old heavy motors just get older and as we get older, they get heavier too Also now you have the opportunity to throw a couple of T04 turbo's or something in there to really open up some eyes.
