this may be help to you if you live in the mid-west. if you go to www.gmbuypower.com/vehicleSearch.bp and look for the GTO in Minneapolis, MN it will show you 25 dealers in Minnesota, half of wich still have 8-12 GTOs on their lot. I checked out a few and they have every color combo with both tranies still avalible including purple/purple, barbados/black, black/black, black/red, blue/black, blue/blue, silver/black, silver/red, red/black, red/red, yellow, black. those are all the color combos i found looking at only 3 of the dealers around minneapolis and they had manual and auto in all those colors. I'm not sure about how much they are willing to lower the price cause it only lists sticker price, but my guess is they have been stingy since they still have 10 cars on the lot and maybe now they will realise they have no choice but to go a little lower. just thought this might help some of you looking for certain colors

They have only sold a bit more than half of the total 2004 production lot to date... I would imagine that all combos are going to be available everywhere for months to come...

Kinda amusing.. My local dealer has sold many of these cars. I've seen some with plates from Royal Pontiac (about 20 Minutes south of Fresno) and Vintage Pontiac (about 30 minutes north of Fresno). I've not been able to catch the Barbadous (sp??) blue car nor the purple car- both gone within hours of arrival. When I spoke with the owner of my dealership, he was having the wheels chromed (they look really nice like this) and watching them go. I asked about their markup- he admitted they weren't going very well with the markup, but they seem to be moving real nicely now that they are more realistically priced.
Hey GM- think about that last statement-- lower the price some (say $26,000) and watch the cars move off the lots!!

With the rebate and 0% you're practically at 26K!

I can point you to several dealers in Texas to get the same deal as what Disc0monkey mentioned.

I am sad to say that I have never seen a newer GTO on the road at any time in the Houston or Galveston area. That's sad, especially at the current pricing.
Add to that the fact that the first 25,000 2005 Mustangs are allready sold and waiting to be produced, Pontiac better do something soon....

The new rebates have them flying off the lots in FL, had a hard time finding a purple 6spd. While I was buying mine they sold 2 others for more $$$.
From my other post:
I just leased a purple 6spd on saturday. I know certain dealers might be posting $24k but that includes your recent military bonus for fighting in Iraq, your GM loyalty bonus, recent college grad bonus, etc. If you do not have a GM card(which I did not) I beat up 2 dealers to the price of about $26k and they had to throw in some dealer checks(complicated) to match the other dealers offer, etc. Invoice is about $30,400 with destination charges, minus the 3500 rebate is $27k so $26k is pretty darn good. I leased mine for $440/month for 30 months, 15k/yr with $0 down at signing. I then gave them a check for $800 for custom chrome dipped factory rims. I will also get $495 security dep back at lease end so rims only cost $300 and I did not have to make my 1st payment so theoretically a 29 month lease.
Please advise if you can beat this deal, no other dealer would touch it on west coast of FL.
