IS THE TRANSMISSION AN AUTO OR MANUAL?
IF IT IS AN AUTOMATIC, YOU MAY HAVE A BAD OR OUT OF ADJUSTMENT NUETRAL SAFETY SWITCH.
THE SWITCH SHOULD BE LOCATED UNDER THE DASH ON TOP OF THE STEERING COLUMN.
LOCATE THE PLUG ON THE SWITCH THAT HAS 2 PURPLE WIRES AND UN-HOOK IT.
MAKE SURE THE SHIFTER IS IN THE PARK POSITION AND USE A JUMPER WIRE BETWEEN THE 2 PURPLE WIRES AND THEN TRY TO START THE CAR.
THIS PROCEDURE WILL TELL YOU IF THE PROBLEM IS IN THE SAFETY SWITCH.
