The driveshaft hoop was an easy one. There was already a brace running across the floor and hugging the tunnel. I found a .250" thick round piece of steel that fit in there perfectly (its in the Jegs catalog for like 10 bucks). Looked very clean. Since I had to make a spacer/adapter for the trans mount on the Chrysler 4 speed anyway, I made it the thickness necessary to center the driveshaft output shaft in the hoop.
The torsion bar setup is the new trunk mount setup from Dick Miller that has the down bars that connect (with heim's) to the rear spring mounts on the rearend. Just have to figure out where to mount it (mines on the roll cage down bars in the trunk, and the whole thing will unbolt for removal) and get it the correct width (it comes fairly wide so there is plenty of material). Also has plastic bushings you can grease for a smooth quiet operation. You can seal the holes in the trunk floor with a shifter boot/ring for a round shifter.
