I agree, David does offer constructive input ... which requires a bit more insight than the typical "jelly bean" comments.

1969 GTO, 455ci, 230/236 Pontiac Dude's "Butcher Special" Comp hyd roller cam with Crower HIPPO solid roller lifters, Q-jet, Edelbrock P4B-QJ, Doug's headers, ported 6X-8 (97cc) heads, TKO600, 3.73 geared Eaton Tru-Trac 8.5", hydroboost, rear disc brakes......and my greatest mechanical feat....a new heater core.

Mike, I have two prolems with your statement.
Frist, David cannot, and has never, offered anything constructive in his life, and secondly, you should not talk bad about jelly beans like that.....

Come on - I was trying to make peace with the guy. He agreed with something I said about Yassar Arafat in another thread ... agreeing with me is a first sign of higher intelligence :-) Or it could be a sign that one needs therapy ... the jury is still out on that one.
Now if I could just get my wife to agree sometimes!!!

Bob Lutz's brain fart in slapping together a boring car catered to the tuner crowd which resulted in pathetic sales will probably send a message to GM that people aren't interested in a GTO. GM in all their brilliance will make a "GTO G7" or something like that with the GTO name being phased out all together. When that happens the G6 wil be their flagship performance vehicle. DJ is right: opposing opinions are needed here.
