I got a rust free replacement for my 76 TA from a junkyard car. After removing the windshield I drilled all the spot welds and removed the entire dash/cowl out to the fire wall and welded in the knew piece. Since the new piece was a junkyard part, a lot of time was spent drilling spot welds in it as well. It was removed from the donor car with a sawzall so it had some of the firewall and parts of the doorposts ECT... still attached. The end result was excellent, I am now ready to have the windshield put back in.
